Changing the firmware settings on the BeeLine GPS. The GPS module implements various filters in firmware to optimize location
reporting. The default mode is 'land' which is not optimal for tracking
objects which change altitude rapidly. The steps outlined below will
change the default filter modes to the their proper values. 1a) Connect the serial port adapter to the 3-pin GPS engine interface
connector on the right hand side of the board. The connector should be
oriented such that the DB-9 connector is to the right of the BeeLine GPS, and
the 'empty' pins are towards the top and covering the surface mount crystal. |
